Hey everyone,
I’ve been exploring different AI video tools lately, especially around video generation and editing, and I came across this platform: https://seedance2-5.com/
It’s basically a Seedance 2.5 AI video generator + editor that lets you:
- Generate videos from text, images, video and audio references
- Create videos up to 30 seconds in a single generation
- Use up to 50 multimodal references (30 images + 10 videos + 10 audio clips)
- Edit specific parts of a video with more precise control
From what I’ve tested so far, what stands out is the amount of control you get over the final video. Instead of just entering a prompt and hoping for the right result, you can use different reference materials to guide characters, products, scenes, camera movement, motion and overall visual style.
What I found especially interesting is the multimodal reference system. Being able to combine images, videos and audio seems useful when you’re trying to keep subjects and visual details consistent across a more complex video. The output can also look much more realistic and cinematic than the short experimental AI clips I’m used to seeing.
I think it could be useful for:
- Advertising and product videos
- Animation and short-form content
- Promotional videos and social media creatives
- Filmmaking and professional video production
It also has video editing features, which makes it feel more like a complete creative workflow rather than just another text-to-video generator.
That said, AI video still isn’t perfect, especially when you’re dealing with complex motion or multiple subjects, so I’d still test it carefully depending on the type of project you’re working on.
Curious if anyone here has been using Seedance 2.5 or other multimodal AI video generators?
How does it compare for consistency, realism and longer video generation?
Would love to hear your thoughts.
